Sorta, only kinda weirder. I had never heard the story of the hatian pact with the devil to overthrow the french and google is only bringing up christian church pages that say it happened. Does anyone know if the story is even true?

I know I’m a little weird but, if so how cool is that to have in your history books?

Although Roman Catholic is the official religion of Haiti, voodoo is probably the national religion. Here in Miami, I’d say the majority of Haitians are Catholic, but not all. The voodoo is like Santeria. Based on the saints, but with black magic from the “old country”.

I’m sure that’s what’s got Robertson’s boxers in a wad.
