No it wouldn’t. There would be massive legal changes involved in defeating the heavily armed insurgents. Changes to the posse comitatus act, restrictions on weaponry, probably some search and seizure issues.

If nothing else, armed insurrection by gun nuts is probably what it would take to put modification of the 2nd amendment (or its repeal) on the table.
