This is something Bill Maher brings up in his more lucid moments: image what good could have been done if even a fraction of the GOP Nope Dopes acted like adults and put country first, party 337th.

It really sucks. I mean as I said I understand one repeal of ACA for symbolic reasons. Tacky, granted but whatever but they’ve had well over 40 repeal attempts that they know will fail and they know it’s costing a ton of money. I think they’ve been just trying to delay the inevitable which is ACA both working and being popular. Eventually they’ll start taking credit for it like how they do with Civil Rights.
