There’s unfortunately a deeply undemocratic side to the self fancied progressives who insist that “the people “ didn’t want Pelosi or Clinton or now Jeffries but ignore that all three got more people supporting them than not. It amuses me so much as a former far lefty to see people using hypothetical polls as way someone should be nominated.

There’s an element on the left that is the mirrored version of the Tea Party/Freedom Caucus. They were PUMAs in 2008, BernieBros in 2016, or more generally the old fall back of moonbats. They’re partly antiestablishmentarian, partly just assholes who want to ruin everything for everyone if they don’t get exactly their way.
