We’re in the midst of a huge and necessary change for the country’s survival, but the deniers are in the driver’s seat.

And they have convinced a sizable share of the population that Covid is just a hoax or a liberal plot or nothing worse than the flu., all of which is going to confound efforts to contain it until we have a vaccine or a treatment in place.
