My hubby and I talked about this and he said that TSA would just deny everything. They had also unwrapped a carving I bought from him and rewrapped it with TSA tape. It arrived chipped although I had carefully folded it in clothing so that would not happen. Am not happy with TSA right now.

Well, while you may not get much joy out of the TSA, just making public which book was taken from your baggage should raise some eyebrows.
