That touches on another huge peeve of mine, idiotic companies who won’t let employees work from home even when it’s perfectly doable for the nature of the job (like much IT-driven office work). I mean, it’s a win-win! A worker still infectious, but well enough to complete certain tasks, could be allowed to telecommute until it’s safe to enter the office again. Hell, in a “contagion”-style scenario, it might be the only way to keep certain services running!

Yep. Or genius employer who has no paid sick days literally forces a sick employer to come into work which results in 12 of his other employees getting sick. Duh-e!
