I honestly don’t get the impression Mitt is overtly racist. Of course, he belongs to a church that didn’t integrate until the late ’70s, IIRC, so who knows?

His chosen political party? Dog Whistle Central. I wish more conservatives/Republicans would be a bit more honest and at least acknowledge there’s a problem.

And don’t forget he was a bishop of that church.
He directly preached that bile. It was central to Mormonism.
I’ve read stuff written by ex-Mormons who say that it still is.

Is it still part of his belief system, who knows, but I find it hard to believe that anyone can change, to that degree, on a dime.
