You’re probably young enough that you don’t have any direct memories, and you’re history probably didn’t cover this, but a good portion of the violence that occurred against blacks in the South was done in the name of Christianity, where whites used the Bible to justify their treatment of blacks. Should we sully all of Christianity with that?
