Good luck with the repair. Working on older stuff is so much easier. On today’s cars many times the front bumper has to come off to replace the radiator. If you still have overheating issues check the head gaskets.

The head gaskets were my original thought, so I’m going to test everything, including them. If it’s head gaskets, I’m going to need help; it’s plenty open in there, but there’s still SO MUCH STUFF to get off the top, and the exhaust is as rusty as you can imagine. And rusty parts and I do NOT get along.
