I was in Indy for a seminar and during lunch I went wandering with a buddy through some stores. We walked into a national chain clothing store and he walks back into the kids dept. and starts moving racks around. An employee comes over asking him what he thinks he’s doing and he goes into a rant. “Mr. whatever from corporate is on his way in and his plane just landed. This area was supposed to be the new display test and nothing has been fucking moved! Where the hell is your manager? Never mind, this rack goes here, that one goes there, we need to get those clothes off that wall and switch them with these. We’re going to need help, go get the people in jr’s to get their asses over here and get moving. We have less than 30 mins to get this shit done!” Then we walked out while they prepared for their corporate inspection.
