Liberals maybe waiting for the day when the Republican party gets so small you can drown in a bathtub. Then the Democratic party can split into two. The right side of the party are just Republicans that don’t want to associate with the Republican party at this time. Speaking as a liberal that would be nice.

There is a very real danger the split may happen before the GOP manages to destroy itself completely, imo. See my post 180.
