No. The long term trend is toward ever higher recipient/contributor ratios. The baby boom can pass all the way through the python, and the long term trends in birth rates and lifespan will still make itself felt.

I ignore this blip because it’s irrelevant to the basic situation. It makes it come to a head a bit sooner, is all.
