I fear winter is coming to an end and we’re still short of rain. I was hoping this would be a wet year, but even though in my part of the county it has rained more than the previous several years, it’s been too little.

This has been a relatively warm winter, too. Only the past couple of weeks has the temp been down to what we’d consider normal, and now we’re going to warm up for the rest of the week.

Sure, it saves (a lot) on my heating bill, but for the sake of the loquats I’d prefer the rain storms.
