Local troubles: Days in the nineties and low hundreds means my house radiates heat into the house into the morning.
There is no wind, so even though it’s 59°F outside right now, I really can’t move that air into the house.
On the other hand, running the air conditioner at 68°F for an hour or so in the very early morning helps trap cooler air through the day.
open a door on one end and a window on the other. have a fan at one or the other blowing air out. it isn’t perfect, but here, I can typically kick a degree or two of hot air out of the apartment doing this. granted, I have a glorious “shotgun” apartment with doors on opposite ends, so just opening both of them creates flow for me.
