I think our overnight freezes are finally done, so it’s time for me to move out to the back deck and get the baskets set up for planting so we can get the spice plants & etc. out of the kitchen…

I think my plants are staying indoors for a few more days. I see overnight lows projected here around 30 for the next few days. And I just saw a snow flurry outside.

The catnip could probably go outside and it’d handle this, though it might lose some greenery since it wintered indoors by growing more. (It had a die-off over Christmas since I think my cat-sitter forgot to water it.) The other plants are much less cold tolerant and the cayenne pepper plants already look awful in part because the cat keeps chewing the leaves off.
