Honest question… did the current administration promise tax cuts… or promise to raise taxes… or what?

They promised and gave a middle class tax cut, and intended to roll back the Bush cut to the rich to the Clinton level. Taxes actually paid as a percentage of income is actually the lowest since the 50’s.
