The bible experiment doesn’t surprise me. Very few people know their scripture - whatever one it is - very well. Few can spend the time that actual scholars of the subject do on it. I imagine you could take material from the Vedas and pull the same stunt on both Christians and Moslems.

My thought on this is because IMO the writings are all descendants from earlier writings and are interwoven from earlier tales.
