Two things, I hope we don’t get quick amnesia like we did in thoes years. And another, it just feels so much worse because at least Nixon’s agenda wasn’t all bad as President.

The Internet is a big issue in this crisis. The amount of bulkshit (ht: Lawhawk), is just absurd. And it’s absolutely pervasive. Any provocateur with a keyboard is a King Of The World in this age of infowars- Russian, American, Chinese, whatever.

And it wasn’t Nixon’s agenda, it was his lack of respect for the law that made his Party turn against him. It was beyond the pale. He fucked the dog. That’s what made him resign.

I don’t see that integrity in Drumpf’s Party right now. I see a bunch cowards, desperate not to lose their positions, of apologists doing whatever they can for their funders (clients) to deflect what is becoming ever clearer. The President is a crime boss, a money-launderer, a conman, a thief, and a multiple felon.
