People whose colleagues are Democrats and who know that they might be the subject of ridicule if they admit their preferences. Also people who only care about the stock market — but might not want to admit that is their only benchmark for supporting Trump.

Do you actually think there are so many people that fit in that category - afraid to admit to even anonymous pollsters they support Trump - that would sway an election that way?

Let’s not give ourselves ANOTHER thing to be afraid of. We do have to be realistic that a national poll doesn’t equate to a win since it’s the EC that counts. But don’t go around making up people. Polling in 2016 pretty much matched the voting. And Trump is hurting his chances in the states that got him over the edge in 2016. It’s not going to be an easy thing, but there are many factors playing against Trump this time.
