Trump knew just how racist America really is and he exploited it. Con men know how to identify weaknesses in their victims and manipulate them. All Trump had to do is call Mexicans rapists and criminals, and millions of Americans were ready to vote for him.

Trump infected nobody, he just erased the distinction between sick and normal.
