I do wonder why on earth the President felt the need to do this. It seems rather an odd use of his time - and it feels skewed to “reach” this far into things the President isn’t usually involved in.

Your mileage and belief about this may differ.

He is a young president with young children, so it fits imo.
Also, he has been a president who has resonated with youth. Maybe they will take him seriously when he says ‘stay in school’.
