I’d say that Obama has pretty much stalled on closing Gitmo and so have the Congressional Democrats and he’s done nothing to extend the Bush tax cuts (which will make everyone’s taxes go up, not just the rich).

Nothing needs to be done about them before they actually expire.

There is absolutely no reason to believe that the Democrats are actually stupid enough to repeatedly say that they’ll prolong the tax cuts for everyone other than the highest percentile, and then suddenly not do that.

That would be absolute political suicide.
