Since we know from everyday life that things like refrigerators and air conditioning take energy to pump heat, do you think it is possible that energy from the sun could shift currents in such a way that certain areas of the Earth get unseasonably colder or wetter?

Yes. I don’t think it is possible though. I know it is.
