Actually they do. There is no pure religion in vacuum. Religion is always interpretation - more literal, less literal, more creative, less creative, whatever. Unless you can find a method of establishing the “one true interpretation” of Islam, all versions of Islam are on the same epistemological ground (moral questions and compatibility with the modern world aside). Note that “one true interpretation” is not the same as “the original intent interpretation” (otherwise true Christians would have to be YECs, as an example, since the Biblical authors did believe in young earth).
