To stop normalizing fascism. I agree with the goal. I do not agree with the tactics. I think they are hurting the cause (which I 100% support). Which infuriates me.

That said, let’s do a flipside. A woman was killed by fascist nazi wannabe scumbag in VA. So maybe I am the one who is thinking the tactics are wrong.

Keep in mind the double standards at work here too. APparently, the murder and other direct attacks in Charlottesville were somehow not interconnected or evidence of some larger organizing, thus “lone wolves”, but some Black Bloc morons breaking windows and assaulting journalists (objectively bad things, mind) means the entirety of Antifa or anyone opposing white supremacists are the REAL terrorists and are all collectively guilty and evil.

It’s a fucking Catch-22 we’re perpetually stuck in because anything WE do is somehow proof of a vast group/population/demographic/etc-wide pathology, but anything THEY do gets the benefit of individual agency and separation, and the media seems to willfully reinforce this time and time and time a-fucking-gain.
