He dismisses plans and wonkyness—that’s almost exclusively Warren.

He doesn’t dismiss them; he says by themselves they are not enough to inspire fence-sitter voters (who made up more than 50% of the electorate in 2016). We have evidence of this in that Hillary Clinton had all sorts of plans and ideas.

He’s saying they need to relentlessly hammer his ties to white supremacists and overt Nazis as well as have plans. Screw the whinging from the right on “playing the race card.” The Democratic Party is a coalition of people of all ethnic backgrounds and races.
