Odd. Wife just made me a PBJ on fresh-made bread.
ROFL. I’m no baker by any means, but about a year ago a friend turned me on to “Artisan Bread in 5 Minutes a Day”. It’s a wetter dough, no kneading, you store it in the fridge, pull off a chunk, dust it with some flour and shape it quickly. Let it sit for about an hour, then bake. Makes a nice crusty loaf, chewy. Good peasant bread.
