I live in California, and if a convention were called and a new constitution written (and it was overly wingnutty), I’m honestly not sure how I’d vote if there was a ratification referendum with choices of ratify, reject, or independence.

I think in a dark way it’s funny they’re pushing this because they’re the ones who claim to be Constitution originalists. Then again, it’s a lot like when Schalfry’s bat shit son tried to make a conservative version of the Bible.
