The GOP will lie about anything anyway. Like, who didn’t see this coming? IMHO, a debt ceiling increase should have been part of the infra bill.

The parties are playing chicken because the GQP wants to bash Democrats and pretend to be “fiscally responsible” and the Democrats are trying to force them to take responsibility for paying bills Republicans authorized.
