I’ll admit that I’ve always wanted to win the lotto and build a home in the fuselage of a C-54/DC-4 and fly the world while living in it :) So, yeah, I get that but OTOH, I can’t say I blame them. If you have the coin? Why not?

I flew across the Pacific in a DC-4 once. Yokota/Wake Island/Honolulu/Travis. It was a great adventure, took 29 hours. What bugs me and many of the commenters about this presentation is the tone, as though it is a reasonably common choice for people to have to make.
