Ouch. Makes me sick how we’re doing so little for Mexico compared to all the money and lives we’ve wasted with Pakistan. We’re ignoring Mexico to our own detriment in the long run. And those drug cartels are supplying users in this country.

The problem is that we can’t act directly in Mexico without touching off a domestic political firestorm and likely making the short-term problems worse.
