If the Tea Party doesn’t want to be associated with racist imagery, then maybe they should cut out the racism. This isn’t comparing Obamacare to slavery. It’s pointing out that the Tea Party employs overt and subtle racism by comparing the Tea Party to a symbol of American racism. I don’t get the heartburn for drawing that parallel.

Or to ask it this way…what should he have done? Just ignore the racism altogether?

Nobody said he should ignore it. If he cant think of any other way to point out the bigotry of the tea party, he lacks creativity to say the least.
But what I think he lacks is any integrity as a congressman.

We all jumped Allen West when he said there were what?…something like 89 Communists in the Congress.

I just don’t understand the need to encourage or excuse bad behavior from our side. I want my side to be better than that.
Fight hard…hell yes, even dirty when necessary. But to me, this is just inflaming for his own sake. He lost his house seat once already, probably because of stunts like this.
