If you want to actually read Al-Ghazali’s work for yourself, then try starting of with this translation of The Incoherence of the Philosophers as it provides both the English and the original Arabic. Read the reviews to learn about the translation as well as Al-Ghazali’s books that preceded and followed this one and are related to it in terms of understanding where he was coming from and who he was talking to/about.
