DKos has been doing a roundup of people accidentally shooting each other for a while now. It makes for depressing reading - a lot of the victims are kids.

I’ve been noticing their Gun fail/lol roundups are limited to mostly white legal gun owners in red states. if there are 50 shot in Chicago it won’t make the list but if a white guy in South Dakota shoot himself in the foot they think it’s really important and funny. It’s a counterproductive effort if people are really interested in reducing gun crime and fatalities.
