Heh, my little brother was terrified of clowns, and my son (at age 30 and 6’ tall) still gets majorly creeped out by scary monster masks. When he was little all you had to do was show him a mask and he’d start shaking & burst into tears.

Clowns never creeped my out; I don’t know why.

I found this one; this illustration always struck me because it seemed closer to the way Stephen King described Pennywise the Dancing Clown in It. I believe he’s also said that in his mind, when he visualized Pennywise, it was more like a Ronald McDonald-type clown.
