They’re also talking about a different time period. Why some Americans think you need to hoard guns to survive in 21st century America is beyond me. I really do get why people want to own guns. I truly and sincerely do. What I do not get is the culture of gun hoarding cultivated by NRA fear campaigns.

The idea that a bunch of random citizens can get together and overthrow the government was pretty much blown by 1794.
