After we realized how truly few shows we used the TV for - between Netflix and Hulu, there is astounding coverage of all the shows we love - it made the choice to drop the soon-to-increase-to-$95/mo cable service so easy. I may even go ahead and buy Amazon Prime on top of that, because all three services is still cheaper than what I was paying for cable.

I really would like to do something like that, but I don’t have cable; I have a satellite, with a limit of 20GB per month. How much bandwidth does streaming cost me for a baseball game or a movie? In other words, am I being stupid?
