You youngsters are reminiscing about REM, while I’m listening to my collection of Doobie Brothers CDs (really mp3s, but whatever).

My tastes have changed. Only a few of their songs I still really like, and the rest are just meh.

I may also be the only person on earth who thinks Michael McDonald has a strange singing voice. He sings well, but the timbre of his voice has too much head tone, like he’s singing in the back of his throat all the time.

His voice is is so totally Sound of the 70’s.
