Looking at that tweet, I’m struck with a thought - it’s looking more and more like AOC is out there drawing fire while Pelosi goes about the business of passing bills in the House.

A counter-distraction, if you will. If it’s an unintended consequence, it a welcome one. But if it’s intentional, it’s fucking brilliant.

I’m not sure if it’s intentional or not, but to some extent that is the impact. She’s also opening up space on some issues. We’re now debating and discussing a 70% marginal tax rate. That leaves a fair amount of wiggle room to raise moderate proposals to only raise the rate to 50%.
