The only time I have ever seen enforcement in a bike lane, it was a Black woman who had been going the wrong way. Tackled, although not on the bike when that happened. Made the paper.

But never when a car drives through a bike lane or a delivery truck blocks the cyclists and forces us into traffic.

Yesterday I went on a long ride on the Springwater trail. At the start of the ride, I saw cops walking the trail from two opposite ends, apparently trying to find a houseless camper. Further up the trail, I saw some guy in a giant truck who had somehow gotten his truck onto the trail and was driving head-on into bike traffic and I had to hop off the bike. No cops there.
