Did people see the coverage of the fake baby blogger recently? Some woman who started a blog claiming she was pregnant and that the baby had a rare disease and would die soon after birth.

She blogged that she was going to have the baby anyway, and over the months her blog became popular with the anti-abortion and Christian crowd, as well as thousands of women, mothers and not, who felt great empathy for her. She had a PO Box and people started sending her presents and (supposedly) some money.

She put up photos of the ‘baby’ when she had it and then blogged that it had died….and people recognised the ‘baby’ as a doll.

All hell broke loose and she was outed and forced to apologise. She’s claiming a mental condition.
