Reine - how do you reconcile Palin’s readiness for office with Obama’s even thinner credentials? I’m not attacking you and I’m almost certain you didn’t support Obama. It just seems to me that once Obama got a pass, that issue should be off the table.

I just re-read your comment and realized I didn’t really address that last part. And my answer is not specifically in terms of Palin’s “credentials” vs Obama’s “credentials”.

IMO, just because Obama got a “pass”, doesn’t mean that others should. If people gave Obama a pass, that is their poor judgment and their mistake. It doesn’t mean I should also give a “pass” to candidates I’m considering for office.
