I’m not the one dealing with it, fortunately. Tell that to the poor suckers who need hip replacements and cataract surgeries in the UK now. The scary thing is that there are people in this country who think that model’s nirvana.
And you’re right, elections do have consequences, especially elections that put control into one party’s hands. Despite its curiously short attention span, the electorate usually manages to rouse and self-correct in mid-course after each of these experiments.

I’m not sure that the GOP deserves to be in any position of power until they can learn to act like grown ups.
