That’s just it — I don’t know why we can’t. If we’re talking about a scenario in which nationalizing and converting the factories would be necessary, I don’t think it would make a difference whether we were doing it to Americans of foreign nationals.

excuse me but even in the darkest days of WW2 nationalizing was not necessary.
