Besides the fellow cop who apparently watched as Slager planted evidence, there’s eyewitnesses who the original story says were backing up his version of events. Is that true, or were the cops spinning the shit to the press in the hopes of making this all go away?

At the moment, it appears to be just a line they’re feeding in hopes of making the questions go away.
