Sorry, just no, no, no.

This is NOT any sort of positive first step in reducing the number of abortions in Nebraska. It is INSULTING the intelligence of every woman in the state of Nebraska because without a doctor being forced by law to “suggest” an ultrasound before an abortion goes beyond implying that the abortion decision is nothing more than an emotional decision on the part of the woman.

It’s all total bullshit and I stand by my statement that menfolk, especially in government, just need to sit down and STFU.

The best way to reduce abortions (if that is your goal) is to provide comprehensive sex-education and available inexpensive or easy-to-get contraceptives.

As for menfolk STFU on abortion, nope. I will continue to advocate for safe and legal abortion for any woman who wants or needs one, and for available contraceptives.
