let’s be clear

Schumer and Manchin and the D’s did not ‘screw over’ the republicans

they passed and organized two important pieces of legislation that the country wants and needs. they weaved it through whatever process they could given how the current state of the Senate operates. as far as i can tell, they broke no rule and didnt break any promise or tell any lie. as opposed to say mcconnel//garland/barrett

it’s the R’s that are now deliberately ‘screwing over’ vets and marriage - both of which are totally unrelated to the above mentioned two bills. and they’re doing that because for some reason their feelings are hurt that the party in charge of the majority got shit done. and this is the only power they have now - to hold other people’s lives and well being hostage.
