I know someone who believes this will happen. She also believes that “diablo” is alive and well on earth (but is invisible, of course) and has a hierarchy of demons doing ‘his’ bidding; that abortion and the drive for gay marriage is a sign of the end times. She’s completely baffled as to why I can’t see any of this and even though she knows I’m an atheist and have been for nearly 20 years, continues to ask me to get right with god. Beyond her seemingly nutty beliefs though, she’s a kind person.
