The “reports” of prisoners being raped by US soldiers have never been proven. If those rapes did occur, why were they not part of the charges? That was not part of the prosecution and has become one of those “truths” the internet spreads around.

Yes, I saw the flesh pyramid. I thought the whole thing was disgusting. But to say there were rapes perpetrated by US soldiers is repeating an unfounded rumor. I’m sure the Paulians love it. I’m surprised to see it from you.

Kynna— forgive me, but there were rapes perpetrated at Abu G. One of them involved a translator (so a civilian contractor) raping a prisoner while army personnel took photos and filmed it. This is in the us military’s own report, the Taguba report.
Other detainees were sodomised, in one case with an incandescent light. Again, this is all in the Taguba report.
